A late summer evening, Union Square, NYC: blue collar chess wizards kicking the asses of everyone who sits down to play; kids on trick bikes, kids on skateboards, kids with soccer balls. School’s starting up and nobody wants to go indoors tonight. Not yet. Summer is holding on. Long live summer.
