Probably the loneliest photo I’ve seen on the Craigslist for-sale listings:

Dining table with one chair

I think that’s a bottle of Barefoot wine on top.

Some nights he looks at it, thinking it “might go pretty good” with a Morton salisbury steak dinner. But he’ll save it in case someone special comes by. So he waits, and thinks one of these days, he’d better get a second chair. Or maybe just get rid of the damned table altogether. Salisbury steak tastes the same if you eat it on the couch. Consistent, reliable, decent value, maybe a little salty, but not bad.

Sell the table then, he resolves. Maybe use the cash to buy a second glass… in case someone special comes by.
